Souvenir pennies, photos, and portable power create the ultimate Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo TMvisitor experience –
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Saddle up, Houstonians and visitors alike! As an honored Heritage Partner, Reliant is excited to introduce new activities for guests at the 91st annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. With a turkey leg in one hand and Reliant souvenirs in the other, rodeo-goers can make memories to last a lifetime.
“Powering the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is one of Reliant’s favorite ways to connect with our community, and we love celebrating this Texas tradition,” said Elizabeth Killinger, president, Reliant. “Rodeo season brings an indescribable excitement to our hometown, and we look forward to helping visitors have a fun and authentic rodeo experience these next few weeks.”
Guests Can Bring Home the Memories with Custom Souvenir Penny Press
New for 2023, Reliant’s custom penny press creates free keepsakes that rodeo-goers can take home. The penny press will be set up at the Reliant Ranch, located next to the landmark Reliant Big Boot. Guests can choose from four unique designs, including the trademark “H” Howdy mascot, a cowboy boot, a “Made in Texas” stamp or a bronco-riding cowboy. These commemorative tokens are stamped in real time at the machine - don’t miss the chance to get your own!
Who’s the Real Cowboy Around Here?
Rodeo guests can test their cowboy skills at the Reliant Ranch at Rodeo Plaza, in between NRG Center and NRG Stadium, for a chance to win various prizes. Compete against friends in Western-themed carnival games, including Boot Toss Cornhole, Bull Horn Ring Toss and Get Your Ducks in a Row-Deo.
For rodeo-goers who want to wrangle a new rodeo wardrobe to really play the part, customers who sign up for the Reliant Rodeo plan receive a $100 Cavender’s gift card while securing a great low electricity price.
Portable Power Keeps Rodeo-Goers Picture-Perfect
Have you ever dreamed of making it eight seconds on a bucking bull? Grab the bull by the horns at Reliant’s entertaining photo opportunity as you enter the lobby of NRG Center Hall C. Guests can step onto the dirt, hop on a life-size bucking bull, and receive a digital photo right on their phones for easy social sharing.
No one wants snapping photos and social sharing to drain their battery before they can document the rest of the evening. To keep rodeo visitors connected, Reliant is offering free one-day rentals on portable power packs at nearly two dozen Reliant Charging Stations across NRG Park, including at NRG Stadium, NRG Center, and NRG Arena.
