We all want to be in control of our budget, especially when it comes to
electric bills. And now, Texas families can. Today Reliant announced the
Predictable 12 electricity plan. It’s a first-of-its-kind plan in the
competitive electricity market that keeps customer electricity costs the
same every month, for 12 months, with no surprises.
“Reliant wanted to create a plan for our customers that would give them
peace of mind around their bills, and do away with surprises that come
with seasonal bill increases,” said Elizabeth Killinger, president of
NRG Texas Retail and Reliant. “Our hope is that this plan makes
budgeting easier for our customers living on a fixed income, and serves
as just one more way that Reliant is striving to be there for its
customers when they need us most.”
While Predictable 12 eliminates seasonal bill increases, it also
eliminates variations in customer bills throughout the year as the
monthly price includes Transmission and Distribution Service Provider
(TDSP) charges and will not be affected by changes in TDSP fees.
